We are Catarina and Margarida, two cousins who have always been sisters – we grew up side by side, sharing dreams, laughter and a common passion: jewelry.
For years we talked about creating something together – a project that was more than a brand, that had soul, purpose and a positive impact.
In 2021, we finally decided to take that step: we brought together art, creativity and the desire to innovate. Bhoomi was born.
At Bhoomi, nothing is left to chance. Even the labels are an extension of our purpose – made from seed paper, they give life to new flowers when planted. Just tear it up, put it in the soil and water it a little.
This is how we see our work: a cycle that renews itself, where each creation is a celebration of the Earth, creativity and care.
Bhoomi was born out of a shared dream between two cousins, but it grows every day with the contribution of those who believe that beauty can – and should – have a conscience.
At Bhoomi we embrace upcycling as a means of giving new life to raw materials.
Upcycling consists of reusing materials that would otherwise be discarded, transforming them into valuable objects with imagination and innovation.
By reusing materials, we help to reduce waste, reduce the need for virgin raw materials and conserve natural resources. So, instead of the linear “produce-use-discard” model, we have chosen a circular economy path, where objects gain a new history.
Each piece we create carries this philosophy: it’s not just jewelry, but a second life, transformation and awareness.
At Bhoomi, not even labels go to waste.
Our labels are made from seed paper – a simple and ecological solution that goes beyond the traditional “label” function. Just tear it off, put it in soil (or a pot), water it lightly and wait for it to grow.
By opting for this type of label, we are reducing paper waste and contributing to local biodiversity. What’s more, we provide our community with an experience that goes beyond buying: planting, watching it grow, feeling that there’s an impact.
When you buy a Bhoomi piece, you don’t just get jewelry – you get a message of purpose. By planting the label, you become part of the change, you become an agent of a greener future.
